Practical and economical
The cover acts as the waterproof outer layer of your cloth diaper, where the absorbent inserts are placed inside. The smart thing about a cover is that it doesn’t need to be washed after every diaper change – you can simply wipe the inside of the cover with a damp cloth and then it’s ready for use again with new absorbent inserts. You can change the insert and reuse the cover several times until it gets dirty or smells like urine. This makes this cloth diaper solution both practical and very economical.
Designed for a newborn baby
The Newborn Cover has gentle double leg gussets at the thighs, which are particularly good at keeping everything in, even when it comes to the liquid poop that newborns often have. So you don’t get “blow-outs” that are otherwise normal with disposable diapers in the newborn phase. The cover is designed to be used from 2.5 kg to about 6 kg, and it can be adjusted as your baby grows using the snaps on the front of the diaper. Another advantage of the case is the short drying time, as it does not have any sewn-in absorbent materials. This also protects the case in the wash, which significantly increases its durability.
Choose inserts that you like
The Newborn Cover fits perfectly with Elskbar’s newborn insert made of bamboo, so you get a diaper that absorbs really well and at the same time is soft against baby’s skin. You can also choose a wide range of other inserts, such as prefolds, preflats, or pre-shaped diapers. Most inserts intended for newborns fit in Elskbar’s Newborn Cover.
We have never experienced leakage with Elskbar Newborn Cover.
HOW MANY NEWBORN COVERS AND INSERTS DO YOU NEED?
Each cover can be reused for approximately 3 diaper changes, which means you should have about 3 Elskbar Newborn inserts per cover. If you plan to use cloth diapers full-time, we recommend 8 Newborn Covers and 24 inserts to always have a clean cover and inserts ready.

Avoid detergents containing fabric softeners, optical brighteners, or chlorine bleach. See detailed washing instructions for modern cloth diapers.
