How often should it be emptied
When properly inserted, Elskbar Menstrual Disc provides up to 12 hours of leak-free protection, depending on your bleeding. On the days you bleed the most, you can advantageously empty it more often. If you experience a leak, it may be because it’s time to empty your disk. One of the biggest advantages of a disc is its high capacity – it can hold 3-5 times more than a tampon or pad. This means fewer visits to the toilet and uninterrupted comfort throughout the day.
Be active without worries
Your period should never hold you back, and with Elskbar Menstrual Disc, it won’t either. Whether you’re running, swimming, doing yoga, or sleeping through the night, the disc moves naturally with your body and provides a safe experience.
Leakage during use (Auto-emptying)
You may experience a bit of leakage when you are on the toilet. This is called auto-emptying and happens when the natural pressure from urination or defecation temporarily shifts the disc and allows a bit of fluid to escape. This is completely normal and one of the features that make a menstrual disc unique.
If this happens, simply use a clean finger to push the front edge of the Elskbar Disc back behind your pubic bone and you’re good to go.
